Stories by the Forest
During our seven weeks of summer programs, FSP hosts Stories by the Forest weekly on Tuesdays at 11am. Maine authors, storytellers, and musicians will present children's stories and activities. Free and open to the public. Bring a picnic lunch!
Past presenters include Chris Van Dusen, National Book Award winning author Phil Hoose, Katie Clark, Annie Sibley O'Brien, Scott Nash, Cathryn Falwell, Lisa Ellen Jahn-Clough, Jamie Hogan, Reza Jalali, Ellie Chase, Amy McDonald, Beth Cadena, Jeannie Brett, and Sarah Thomsen.

June 18: Spark’s Ark
June 25: Linda Ashe-Ford (FSP’s Aftercare Coordinator) tells the story “Brother Bear Holds a Council of the Animals Because There Is a Problem”
July 2: No story
July 9: Jamie Hogan, author and illustrator of “Ana and the Sea Star”
July 16: Kevin Attra and Sharoan Cohen present a story in music and dance
July 23: Brigitte West, illustrator, maker and writer
July 30: Annegret Baier, West African drummer
