NEW! Junior Counselors 

Ages 15 & 16, and age 14 if they have attended a week of FSP CIT camp. 

This is a volunteer position.

Junior counselors work with one of our camp groups – Chickadee, Fox, or Crow – for a whole week, during Weeks 3-7.

Weeks 3-7:

Week 3: June 30 - July 3, *Monday-Thursday camp week

Week 4: July 7-11 

Week 5: July 14-18

Week 6: July 21-25

Week 7: July 28-31, *Monday-Thursday camp week

Here, they are immersed in learning about, participating in, and contributing to our camp culture. They bring enthusiasm and a spirit of inclusion into the camp group, working to connect with all the campers and bring a fun and joyful attitude to the camp day. They assist the counselors with projects, games, and transitions, and learn how to share their own projects and/or games with the campers. Each day, they also meet with the Junior Counselor leader for support whether that be with social dynamics of the group; assistance with planning activities; or the development of leadership skills such as communication, engagement, and decision-making.
