Welcome and thank you for your interest in Friends School of Portland. We are a preschool through eighth-grade Quaker school guided by the values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship. Our newly expanded Passive House building sits on a beautiful 21-acre campus of forest and outdoor gathering spaces. This coming fall, we are excited to have 138 students as part of our community!
If you have just started looking at our school, please go to our “request information” tab, or click the button below, so I can be in email communication with you. By indicating your interest, you’ll also be added to our 2024-25 Inquiry List, and will receive all admission-related updates.
I look forward to learning about your child or children, and your family.
Best,

Friends School of Portland is a company of learners who are guided by the Quaker belief in the Light within each person. We value the shared wisdom that individual and cultural differences and perspectives bring. In keeping with this value, we seek to enroll a community that reflects diversity, including that of race, ethnicity, gender, family structure, religion, and economic background. The school also prioritizes Quaker families, children of FSP employees, and siblings of current FSP students. We strive to build a community in which each person belongs, is known, and is valued.
Consistent with the Quaker principle of equality, the Friends School of Portland will admit students of any religion, race, color, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students. The school does not discriminate or reject prospective students on the basis of religion, race, color, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its admissions policies.
