Friends School of Portland has undergone an extraordinary metamorphosis over its short life. From early leadership of our founding teacher on Mackworth Island with just 31 students in 2006 to our own Passive House certified building in Cumberland, FSP has grown from a compelling idea to a thriving institution.
Using the Quaker “SPICES”, we have created our own classroom and all-school traditions over the years. Gradually and carefully, more young people are becoming part of a “community of deeply caring individuals educating a person for life, not just high school,” as one graduate puts it.
Yet we are still young and growing, relying fully on tuition and gifts to operate every year. FSP strives to run simply. Friends like you have helped make this possible.
Please consider a kind gift to the Friends School of Portland. Together we are helping children find their path.
